Data processing softaware EMP
In this section:
Description of EM software
The EMP software is designed for fast processing and quality control of electromagnetic sounding data of variouse methods. The main purpose of the software is the transformation of the raw time series of multichannel recorders into the frequency spectra of the transfer functions of the geoelectric csross-section.
EMP is focused on processing the following methods:
controlled-source audiomagnetotellurics (CSAMT);
controlled-source radiomagnetotellurics (CSRMT).
The processing of MT and AMT sounding data is performed in the "singe station" variant.
The EMP software implements a multi-level data quality assessment system that takes into account the statistical parameters of the initial time series, the result of robust weighing of each windows in the process of estimating the transfer functions of the geoelectric section and the characteristics of the transfer functions themselves.
The EMP software allows to process data obtained using following receivers:
V8, MTU, MTU-A, RXU by Phoenix (*.tsh, *.tsl, *ts2, *.ts3, *ts4, *ts5 file formats)
RMT-F or SM25 recorder by St.Petersburg State University and Microkor (*.sbf file)
AKF-4M or SM27 recorder by St.Petersburg State University and Microkor (*.sbf file)
Aether recorder by Crystal Globe Inc (*.atts file format)
EMP allows to convert EDI file to ModEM, MARE2DEM, REBOCC, Mackie, ZondMT2D formats for inversion.
If you are not yet registered on the web site, then after clicking on the download button you will be prompted to register. After that, I will receive a notification and I will add you to the list of users of the EMP. This is not an automatic process and sometimes takes some time. Downloading the program becomes available only after I give you access by adding you to the list of users. Please do not register many email addresses. Acceptance or rejection of you does not depend on the e-mail domain. Just check time-to-time can you download the program or not. You always can write me a reminder email.
